Celebrate with a Special Family Crest
Is your family getting together for a winter holiday reunion? Although people often commemorate family reunions with a custom T-shirt, in many parts of the country it’s just too cold this time of year to feel comfortable in short sleeves.
The Catala family from Spain found an interesting solution to the problem. They asked Instant Imprints to embroider their family crest on a long-sleeve mock turtleneck. They provided us with a stylized family crest design. We cleaned up the artwork, digitized it into the proprietary embroidery file format, and then stitched the shirts. Take a look at the results: family crests make rich-looking, colorful embroidery designs.
If you like the idea of a family crest or coat of arms, you can research it at http://www.allfamilycrests.com/. Most of the family crests displayed are for names of European origin including English, Scottish, Irish, German, and Spanish. You can check out the crests and learn about the symbolism incorporated into the design. If your surname isn’t listed, why not design a family emblem, using symbols with special meaning for your family?
